Chain Link Fence

Chain Link Fence Is Ideal for Security and Boundary Applications

Chain Link Fence, also known as Cyclone Fence or Diamond Mesh Fence, is a versatile and cost-effective fencing solution. It is widely used for boundary demarcation, security, high-security areas, and sports facilities, making it suitable for various types of properties. Constructed from galvanized or PVC-coated iron wire, these fences are secured with posts, braces, and fittings to create durable systems for parks, tennis courts, airports, and other locations. Additionally, they are ideal for animal breeding. Chain Link Fences are available in galvanized, PVC, and PE-coated options, offering easy construction and maintenance in bright colors, making them an excellent choice for enhancing urban environments.

Chain Link Fence, also known as Cyclone Fence or Diamond Mesh Fence, is one of the fastest and most cost-effective fencing solutions available today. It is widely used for boundary demarcation, security fencing, high-security areas, and sports facilities, making it suitable for many types of properties and applications.

Material

Chain Link Fences are constructed from galvanized or PVC-coated iron wire, providing robust and durable fencing systems. The fences are fixed with posts, braces, and fittings to build a reliable barrier for parks, tennis courts, airports, and more. They can also be used for animal breeding and other purposes, making them a versatile choice.

Coating Options

To enhance durability and resistance to corrosion, Chain Link Fences come in three main types: galvanized, PVC-coated, and PE-coated. These coatings ensure the fences are easy to construct and maintain, and they come in bright colors to beautify urban environments.

Material Grade

The basic raw material for Chain Link Fences is low carbon steel wire drawn from wire rods. Depending on customer requirements, the wire can be galvanized or coated with PVC before weaving. The quality of the chain link significantly depends on the material grade, with the following options available:

  • Electro-galvanized wire: Zinc weight 10-20g/sqm
  • Hot-dipped galvanized wire: Zinc weight 60-80g/sqm
  • High Zinc Volume galvanized wire: Zinc weight 200-260g/sqm
  • Galfan Wire (Zn+5%Al or Zn+10%Al): Zinc weight over 200g/sqm
  • Stainless steel wire: Available in SS 304 or 316

All galvanized wires can be PVC coated for additional corrosion resistance and color options.

Applications

Chain Link Fences are highly versatile and can be used in a wide range of settings:

  • Residential Areas: Commonly used around homes and parks for secure and visible boundaries.
  • Educational Institutions: Ideal for school playgrounds, providing safety without obstructing views.
  • Sports Facilities: Often used to enclose tennis courts and golf courses to keep balls within play areas.
  • Commercial Properties: Secures commercial buildings, parking lots, and other business-related areas.
  • Agricultural Uses: Effective for containing livestock in farms and poultry houses.
  • Animal Enclosures: Suitable for zoos, pet cages, and creating safe environments for animals.
  • Gardening: Serves as plant trellis panels, supporting climbing plants and vegetables.
  • High-Security Locations: Used in prisons, often enhanced with barbed or razor wire for added security.
